Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of UK reporting operations covering external reporting and internal management information, ensuring timely submissions to UK regulators.
  • •Provide end-to-end process ownership for preparation, review, and assurance of BAU reporting requirements (internal and external).
  • •Ensure external disclosures are compliant with listing requirements and standards (e.g., IFRS) and are meaningful to external readers.
  • •Support delivery of PRA financial and regulatory returns, including accuracy, timeliness, and responses to ad hoc regulator requests.
  • •Drive strategic initiatives across UK reporting (accountability, error/issue management, variance analysis, quality assurance), including UAT and remediation of data quality/system issues; work towards automation of reporting activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (CA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent) or MBA Finance (or equivalent) with 12–18 years experience, or M.Com (or equivalent) with 15–20 years experience in regulatory/financial reporting and analysis.
  • •Proven delivery experience for regulatory reporting or financial reporting obligations within large-scale financial services.
  • •Strong technical understanding of regulatory/financial reporting requirements including capital, liquidity, FINREP, BOE, RWAs, and leverage.
  • •Experience leading complex change projects in financial and regulatory reporting and driving continuous process improvements (technology and non-technology).
  • •Experience implementing and adhering to control frameworks, documenting limitations and control weaknesses in a timely manner.
