Job Summary

Support HR processes and policies for the UK Distribution Centre and UK Retail Stores, serving as a primary HR contact to employees and leaders. Advise on HR themes and execute action plans following UK employment legislation, VF procedures, and People Strategy. Handle sickness/absence, performance management, and complex employment relations cases, and support restructures, TUPE, contract variations, and settlement agreements. Deliver training, people surgeries, and ad-hoc HR projects while partnering on wellbeing insights and people KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the UK Distribution Centre and UK Retail Stores with HR process execution and policy implementation aligned to People Strategy.
•Provide HR guidance on sickness/absence reporting and performance management tools and processes.
•Act as a subject matter expert in Employment Relations, advising and coaching line managers through complex cases and highlighting patterns and areas for improvement.
•Support redundancy, restructures, small-scale TUPE, contract variations, and settlement agreements.
•Lead in-house training and people surgeries, coordinate external training, and support ad-hoc HR projects including apprenticeships, culture surveys, and total rewards.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: GBP 37,000 - 44,000 annually

Key Requirements

•CIPD Level 5 qualified desired (not essential).
•Previous experience in an HR advisory or generalist capacity, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management.
•Ability to apply strong HR knowledge/principles in your current sector; Retail/Supply Chain experience is an advantage.
•Comfort with HR systems and reporting, including AI, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Workday (strong advantage).
•Strong communication and Employee Relations skills, with confidence presenting to all business levels via Zoom/Teams and in person.
