Key Responsibilities

•Support the team in managing a portfolio of private clients including HNWIs, entrepreneurs, trusts and estates across income tax, CGT and IHT advisory work and associated compliance.
•Support partners and senior colleagues on advisory matters including shareholder tax planning, tax residency, succession planning, and transactions.
•Manage self-assessment tax return preparation and delivery alongside related compliance obligations.
•Liaise directly with clients and HMRC, handling correspondence and enquiries with confidence
•Identify opportunities to use technology and automation to improve how work is delivered — and actively push for those improvements

Key Requirements

•ACA, ATT or CTA qualified
•3+ years of private client tax experience, ideally in a professional services or advisory environment
•Real technical knowledge across income tax, CGT and IHT; trust experience is a plus
•Genuine interest in how technology can improve tax delivery — familiarity with existing tools is useful; intellectual curiosity about AI and automation matters more
•Strong communicator — comfortable dealing directly with clients and explaining complex positions clearly
