Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply MEP engineering expertise to review designs and calculations, translate client requirements into deliverables, and coordinate stakeholders to support delivery.
  • •Support AECOM’s AI design platform by working directly with customers to capture and translate requirements into practical outputs.
  • •Test and evaluate product features, provide engineering-led feedback to developers, and identify and help resolve defects.
  • •Ensure engineering outputs meet quality standards before being issued to clients.
  • •Champion adoption of AI and digital tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality, and help shape new ways of working.

Key Requirements

  • •HNC, HND, or a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with experience designing and/or reviewing MEP systems.
  • •Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, including assessing MEP calculations and outputs.
  • •Experience reviewing engineering deliverables with strong attention to detail, quality checks, and defect identification.
  • •Confidence leading meetings, capturing requirements, managing expectations, and building relationships with clients and technical teams.
  • •Comfort working in a 3D BIM environment and using digital tools, including AI and large language models (LLMs).
