Job Summary

Serve as a Senior Merchant Business Banking Sales Advisor on Key’s Core Business Banking sales teams, helping grow and retain merchant relationships. Prospect in your assigned territory, consult businesses on appropriate payment solutions (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH, plus hardware and software), and identify additional banking needs. Resolve client issues and coordinate with internal teams to deliver profitable, trusted-advisor outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Acquire new merchant services relationships through prospecting in your assigned territory and via referrals from client-focused teams.
•Consult with prospective businesses to identify payment solutions and present/sell merchant payment processing (credit card, check processing, gift cards, ACH) and related hardware/software.
•Identify merchants’ other banking needs and deliver solutions using available KeyBank resources.
•Prospect within an assigned region to supplement bank referrals.
•Comply with KeyBank policies and procedures, including acting ethically and resolving client issues to ensure satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 57,000 - 87,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience (required).
•3+ years of payments-related experience in a banking environment (required).
•3+ years of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive growth and service goals (required).
•Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
•Exceptional negotiating and closing skills.
