Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure fleet maintenance and airworthiness of Hawk aircraft in accordance with safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer requirements.
  • •Maintain sufficient, trained, and authorized maintenance personnel coverage to achieve aircraft maintenance outcomes.
  • •Provide leadership to coach and develop team members and foster a high-performance culture.
  • •Oversee aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance, ensuring it is performed, supervised, and inspected per instructions, orders, and publications.
  • •Maintain an unwavering commitment to Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and identify/report maintenance opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant maintenance management experience across operational and production maintenance activities.
  • •Tertiary engineering qualification (or equivalent) to meet Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) requirements to attain DASR Form 4 Delegation.
  • •Aviation/aircraft maintenance industry experience with sound understanding of airworthiness and DASR standards (or equivalent).
  • •Engineering qualifications that satisfy membership requirements with Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
  • •Technical leadership and people leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team and make decisions under pressure.
