Job Summary

Own a technical product vertical end-to-end for BJAK’s Southeast Asia Neobank Superapp, covering strategy and roadmap through technical design and delivery. Lead backlog prioritization by value and risk, define acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering on system boundaries and money-movement correctness (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation). Treat licensing, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, monitoring, and privacy as first-class product inputs, and apply AI only where it improves outcomes reliably.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a vertical end-to-end, including outcomes/metrics, backlog prioritization by value/risk/dependency/priority, and crisp acceptance criteria.
•Shape technical design with engineering across system boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party rail reliability, and failure/retry/refund paths.
•Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, and defend decisions with engineering, compliance, or ops leadership.
•Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC and limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy) with clear launch gates.
•Apply AI where it earns its place by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and safe responses when unsure; ship behind flags and across external gates.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
•Solid system design foundation (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency) and comfort reviewing design docs and sketches.
•Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain (payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or proven ability to ramp quickly.
•Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including defining what features can decide, evaluation, and safe human-in-the-loop behavior.
•Nice to have: engineer or highly-technical PM background, shipped AI-heavy consumer products, defined ML/LLM eval metrics, and/or SEA market experience.
