Key Responsibilities

  • •Use electronics and manufacturing knowledge (including DFM and inspection/measurement techniques) to guide technical risks and support scaling designs from prototyping to high-volume production.
  • •Drive supplier quality development across product development stages via design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for sub-sea components.
  • •Analyze critical drawing and specification characteristics to develop measurement systems and support supplier qualification activities (including PPAP, FAIR, audits, and inspection development).
  • •Manage supplier technical performance by partnering with engineering, sourcing, strategic sourcing, and program management; handle exceptions/containments/deviations and execute readiness activities.
  • •Support supplier corrective actions and compliance by leading RCCA/MRB/SCAR processes, conducting supplier quality management system audits, and preparing/supporting supplier onsite audits and reviews.

Salary: USD 86,000 - 112,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • •2+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering experience in sub-sea electronics, wet cable manufacturing, battery manufacturing, or welded frame assembly.
  • •Experience with Electronic TLA and PCBA manufacturing processes, test methods, high voltage systems, and power electronics.
  • •Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype/proof-of-concept parts through low-rate to high-rate production.
  • •Experience with First Article Inspection to AS9102 and the ability to ensure suppliers have capable control plans/inspection processes (including IPC-A-610/620, IPC-J-STD-001, and MIL-STD-810).
