Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze current risk transfer programs, including coverage and cost analysis, and present graphical representations of programs.
  • •Plan and design insurance program structure alternatives and perform benchmarking analysis related to limits and coverage terms.
  • •Prepare marketplace insurance submissions and coordinate and conduct market meetings and negotiations with account executives.
  • •Finalize quotes and compare program options for client proposal presentations, including changes in exposures, losses, collateral, coverage terms/conditions, and cost of risk.
  • •Serve as primary or secondary market contact as assigned and educate/advice team members on coverage issues, markets, and related developments.

Key Requirements

  • •Casualty broker with 2-5 years of experience working in primary placements and/or in casualty.
  • •Ability to work directly with clients as lead or secondary broker to build primary casualty programs and support new business opportunities.
  • •Strong understanding of and relationships with insurance company management and underwriting teams/personnel.
  • •Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience; Property and Casualty Brokers License required (can be attained on the job).
