Job Summary

Own nationwide on-site deployments of Drone as a First Responder infrastructure by performing installations, routine maintenance, and field support for drone docks and related hardware. Conduct physical site assessments for power, mounting, and network connectivity, troubleshoot complex hardware/software/local connectivity issues, and produce thorough installation documentation for operations teams. Partner with public safety customers to ensure safe, compliant site readiness while traveling up to 100% across the country.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Execute nationwide on-site installations, routine maintenance, and field support for DFR hardware, drone docks, and supporting infrastructure.
•Perform comprehensive physical site assessments for electrical power availability, structural mounting locations, network connectivity, and site access constraints.
•Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and local network connectivity issues encountered during field deployments.
•Create detailed installation documentation, service records, site photographs, and technical field logs for cross-functional teams.
•Partner with public safety customers and internal deployment teams to guide site readiness and ensure safe, compliant installations.

Travel: Extensive travel

Salary: USD 60,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Technical experience in field service environments such as low-voltage installations, telecommunications, surveillance technology, or physical infrastructure deployment.
•Hands-on proficiency with basic networking, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly, including troubleshooting across MacOS, Windows, or Android.
•Ability to work outdoors in variable weather, safely work at elevated heights, and lift or transport equipment up to 75 lbs.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to independently manage nationwide travel logistics.
•FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, or willingness to obtain certification within 45 days of hire; associate or bachelor’s degree or public-safety technical support experience is a plus.
