Job Summary

We are seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Global Technical Operations team, monitoring and investigating production issues across a global platform. You’ll triage incidents, runbooks, and runbooks, contribute to automation, and help improve detection, response, and communications during incidents, while analyzing trends to drive improved reliability for high-availability systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog on shift to detect anomalies and determine whether alerts warrant incident tickets or immediate investigation
•Triage and investigate production incidents, create incident tickets in JIRA Service Management, perform initial technical investigation using Datadog, and route to the correct team using the smart routing model
•Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from detection through resolution, diagnose, run runbooks, and escalate only when needed
•Support the TSO Lead during major incidents as the technical right hand in the war room, surface real-time data, maintain incident tickets, and execute mitigation actions
•Draft incident communications including Slack updates, stakeholder notifications, and customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com) during the incident lifecycle

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, NOC, or technical operations in a high-availability environment
