Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Global Chemical Substance Operations by evaluating materials, processes, and components for compliance with regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and other global directives.
  • •Conduct material-level compliance assessments during hardware design reviews and production activities, including verification and validation with detailed documentation.
  • •Prepare and deliver compliance reports, material declarations, and regulatory submissions; maintain compliance schemes for international and European regulations for handling hazardous chemicals.
  • •Interface with internal engineering/manufacturing/supply chain teams and external suppliers to collect material composition data and recommend compliant substitutes or alternate materials.
  • •Develop and maintain tools, databases, and reporting methods for chemical substance tracking and compliance documentation, and manage risks related to obsolescence, restricted substances, and emerging regulations.
