Job Summary

Join HSBC’s Fraud Operations team in GSC Cairo, supporting Fraud Prevention and Detection processes that protect company assets and customers. In a 24/7 contact-centre environment, you’ll handle customer queries, consult victims of identity theft, identify fraud red flags, and ensure cases are processed ethically and in line with compliance requirements. You’ll also record and facilitate escalations to the Fraud Manager and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide first-point-of-contact customer service for fraud and scam related queries in a 24/7 contact-centre environment.
•Monitor queues, reports, and items to identify fraudulent activity and red flags while adhering to procedures, compliance, and regulations.
•Consult victims of identity theft with recommended actions to clear credit and protect against future fraud.
•Resolve queries in a timely and satisfactory manner and consider updates to departmental processes for smoother fraud processing.
•Facilitate and record escalations to the Fraud Manager and perform against individual targets while supporting team productivity.

Key Requirements

•Decision making using experience, judgment, and Fraud Operations process knowledge.
•Knowledge and experience in problem-solving techniques.
•Ability to speak, understand, and communicate fluently, including excellent email, conversational, and telephone skills.
•Ability to write business letters and reports and communicate effectively with customers.
•Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment and meet tight deadlines.
