Strategic Account Manager for TrendAI in Cape Town focuses on proactively acquiring new clients and growing territories by partnering with Technical, Channel Partner and Marketing teams to develop selling strategies, manage accounts, and achieve revenue targets while maintaining relationships with CIOs/CISOs and ecosystem partners (AWS, Microsoft, VMware, Google).

Job Function: Customer Success & Account Management

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and pro-actively target prospects and existing clients to drive the adoption of TrendAI technologies and services
•Increase market share in defined territory and develop strategies for each product/service
•Connect with CIO/CISO to create and grow opportunities within the territory
•Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Marketing and Sales Head to present the right value proposition to Channel CEOs and sales/technical teams
•Maintain and grow relations with ecosystem partners (AWS/Microsoft/VMware/Google) and manage account planning in Salesforce

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the security industry
•Account management experience in a commercial sector; growth-oriented mindset
•Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR) and security platforms (SIEM, SOAR) is advantageous
•Sales certifications (e.g., SPIN, TAS) and security certifications are highly regarded
•Experience using Salesforce for opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and account planning
