Job Summary

Operate and support heavy equipment work during Summer 2026 while working under close direction from an experienced supervisor/manager. You’ll assist with assembling heavy plant components, testing equipment after repair or assembly, diagnosing faults using diagnostic and calibration tools, performing routine maintenance, and loading/moving materials using trucks, crawler tractors, cranes, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Assemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
•Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
•Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs using diagnostic equipment and calibration devices.
•Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, changing filters, taking oil samples, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
•Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using trucks, crawler tractors, power cranes, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
