Key Responsibilities

  • •Own strategy and roadmap for observability telemetry ingestion, developer surfaces, and monitoring.
  • •Turn ambiguous signal from escalations, interviews, usage, and competition into a sequenced plan with tradeoffs.
  • •Partner with engineering and design to scope work and make telemetry data legible.
  • •Define where Vercel builds vs. where integrations (e.g., Datadog/Sentry/Grafana/Honeycomb/New Relic) work seamlessly with OpenTelemetry.
  • •Set pricing and packaging, determine success metrics, and lead launch narratives (changelogs, docs direction, and blog posts).
