Key Responsibilities

•Lead global management of platform worker and rider classification risks, working with international employment lawyers across the group.
•Monitor and manage high-profile litigation and regulatory investigations, developing defense strategies with local legal counsel.
•Partner with Product, Tech, and Operations to understand delivery operations and the tech stack, supporting next-generation delivery solutions.
•Support cross-functional teams in evaluating new business models and strategic opportunities related to platform work.
•Track and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting platform work and advise Public Policy teams at HQ and market level.

Key Requirements

•Fully qualified employment lawyer in an EU jurisdiction with extensive employment law experience, including at least 3 years in a law firm environment and strong litigation background.
•Deep expertise in platform work and worker classification, including interpreting and applying the EU Platform Workers Directive and related legislation.
•Ability to influence senior stakeholders through strong legal judgment and effective collaboration across multi-jurisdictional, cross-functional teams.
•Excellent legal drafting and communication skills, including executive-level communication and creating clear slide presentations.
•Full professional proficiency in English and fluency in at least one additional European language, with willingness to be based in or relocate to an EU market.
