Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately capture and update claims data in compliance with best practices for commercial line workers’ compensation claims.
  • •Gather and analyze relevant facts to determine liability using applicable law and basic negligence principles.
  • •Analyze coverage to determine whether losses fall within the applicable policy coverage.
  • •Develop case strategy and escalate issues as appropriate to achieve timely claim resolution.
  • •Establish and review reserves, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within authority limits while meeting quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 49,500 - 81,000

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of claims or insurance experience, OR equivalent Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice/Associate pathway, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 4+ years claims or insurance experience.
  • •Completion of required adjuster license(s) and ability to obtain and maintain them.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
  • •Preferred: 3+ years handling medium-to-high severity claims and negotiation/litigation management experience.
