Key Responsibilities

•Define the next generation of AI hardware by guiding the design from concept to product for new device categories such as AI wearables and AI companion devices.
•Build and lead a world-class design team (Industrial Design, UX/Interaction Design, User Research, HMI, Hardware Prototyping) to form a product-innovation lab.
•Lead the creation of hardware experiences, including form factors, interaction models, and AI+hardware integrations, with rapid prototype iterations.
•Collaborate closely with engineering, AI, and product teams to ensure seamless cross-functional execution and alignment with strategic goals.
•Own the design center’s growth and influence in San Francisco, shaping Plaud’s hardware platform for the AI era.
