Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain passenger behavior simulation models for rail, bus, aviation, and urban mobility systems.
  • •Lead static and dynamic passenger flow modelling using tools such as LEGION, Viswalk, and MassMotion.
  • •Perform validation, calibration, and testing to ensure simulation reliability and alignment with industry standards.

  • •Support multiple passenger modelling projects by advising, guiding, and overseeing outputs from junior/intermediate staff.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in passenger modelling or agent-based simulation in transportation, mobility, or urban planning environments.
  • •Proficiency with LEGION, Viswalk, MassMotion, or CAST modelling, plus strong capability in Python and Excel/VBA for analysis and automation.
  • •Experience modelling major transit facilities and/or contributing to Crowd Control Plans (CCPs).
  • •Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with complex algorithms and mathematical models.
  • •Knowledge of MATLAB or R for data visualization and interpretation, plus understanding of transportation systems, human factors, and crowd dynamics.
