Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and performant solutions.
  • •Build, integrate, support and improve data streaming services on Akamai Platform with focus on systems for collecting and analyzing performance metrics.
  • •Design and develop DevOps tools to make the software delivery system run seamlessly.
  • •Develop processes and tools to monitor, analyze, maintain and improve streaming data pipelines usability and observability.
  • •Develop and implement procedures for automating operational tasks, streamlining day-to-day work to achieve zero human engagement paradigm

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor diploma in Computer Science or another related field or its equivalent.
  • •5+ years experience with distributed systems, Linux networking, TCP/IP, SSH, SSL, and HTTP protocols
  • •3+ years in DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet
  • •3+ years with Observability, Performance Analytics, Security tools like Prometheus and DataDog
  • •Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop and Spark; design principles
