Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Aggregates Controller in managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  • •Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, allocations, reserves, and general ledger activity, and analyze statements for variances and trends.
  • •Provide accounting oversight for aggregates operations, including inventory accounting, product costing, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and construction-in-progress.
  • •Maintain internal controls by monitoring adherence to policies/procedures, reviewing documentation and reconciliations, and supporting audit requests and corrective actions.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop accounting/finance team members and partner with leaders on budgeting, forecasting, root-cause analysis, and profitability initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • •Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • •Experience reviewing financial results and translating data into actionable business insights.
