Job Summary

Own global capital procurement for a ~$300M+ spend by leading sourcing events, competitive bids, and supplier performance reviews. Build a centralized category management approach for key equipment, improve CAPEX procurement templates and RFx processes, and drive standardization through a global CAPEX center of excellence. Partner with regional/global procurement teams and front-line stakeholders while ensuring adherence to procurement technology platforms (SAP, PowerSteering) and CAPEX policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver on the capital plan and execute sourcing events to reduce cost, improve schedule adherence, and raise service and quality levels.
•Develop, execute, and evaluate competitive bids; recommend options to business partners based on operational best practices.
•Guide the business through sourcing with insights, advice, and resources, including tools and processes.
•Create centralized category management approaches and category strategies for key equipment.
•Lead and develop direct reports; drive CAPEX center of excellence improvements (templates, RFx, supplier qualification, scorecards) and global standardization.

Salary: USD 102,100 - 136,166.67 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, supply management, engineering, life science, or related field and at least three years of procurement/purchasing experience.
•Strong financial and business acumen in procurement, including cost modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
•In-depth knowledge of purchasing practices, policies, and procedures, with experience using SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and PowerSteering.
•Ability to quickly become a subject matter expert and to multitask across multiple projects.
•Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving/decision-making skills, with a demonstrated history of collaborating with internal stakeholders.
