Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in continuous improvement and environmental, health and safety (EH&S) activities and initiatives.
  • •Enter and retrieve information from the operating (SAP) system to perform daily activities.
  • •Follow specific instructions and use required equipment to perform assigned work according to FAA and company regulations.
  • •Inspect, disposition, rework/repair, scrap, replace, and order components, modules, and LRU’s as required.
  • •Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, test, and repair manufactured electronic accessory components, including electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and dielectric testing; record accept/reject data.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with CMM, technical sheets, work instructions, and/or blueprints.
  • •Ability to read, speak and understand English (per FAR 65.71(a)(2) and FAA repair station requirements).
  • •Meet FAR 145.155 (b): inspector understands, reads and writes English.
  • •A&P license or attending school is preferred.
