Key Responsibilities

  • •Govern commercial underwriting and distribution activity for the Broker Management team.
  • •Review and actively monitor underwritten policies to ensure compliance with Regional and Group commercial underwriting standards and guidelines.
  • •Own commercial underwriting, portfolio management, and sales training for Broker Managers.
  • •Uphold Allianz Trade technical underwriting standards to ensure long-term profitability and portfolio quality.
  • •Develop and execute strategic marketing and target account plans for Canada; manage key broker and customer relationships and identify cross- and up-selling opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • •7 to 10 years of short-term trade credit commercial underwriting or sales experience.

  • •Ability to assist in closing new and renewal business opportunities.
  • •Proficiency in English and French, with strong relationship-building with broker producers and principals.
