Job Summary

Lead and develop Process Technicians in the Ethylene unit by coaching, directing, and motivating teams to drive unit performance. Coordinate safe, efficient operations, set production priorities with the Ethylene Unit Specialist and Operations Manager, and maintain consistent operating guidelines across shifts. Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence standards and environmental rules, manage shift staffing and training resources, and support Equistar Quality Policy for finished product quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and development for Process Technicians in the Ethylene unit, including coaching, feedback, recognition, and fair treatment.
•Drive unit performance to the business plan through sound operating practices and coordinate operations for safety and efficiency.
•Set production priorities with the Ethylene Unit Specialist and Operations Manager and provide consistent operating guidelines across shifts.
•Ensure compliance with Company Operational Excellence Standards, site procedures, and applicable environmental rules and policies.
•Schedule and assign hourly personnel, develop hourly operations personnel through training resources and unit assignments, and administer company policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment.

•Leadership skills to achieve goals, promote change, and manage administrative aspects of the role.
•Supervisory mark-up and Ethylene unit experience is highly desirable.
