Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently review data and MI, and conduct deep dives to ensure adherence to the BRR Framework and IWPB “what good look like” templates.
  • •Perform risk-based testing of key/significant controls and processes to provide comfort that the business operates in line with laws, regulations, and HSBC Group standards.
  • •Prepare, drive, and participate in control design testing activities and ensure timely delivery of RCA reviews and testing deliverables.
  • •Identify, monitor, and follow up on remediation or enhancements required for Risk & Control Assessments and Monitoring Plans; escalate when necessary.
  • •Manage deep-dive and read-across activities on reviews of events, issues, opportunities, and/or strategic change; collaborate with stakeholders and communicate outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Min total work experience of 5 years in a business management or governance-related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •Conversational English to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • •Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework and practical experience managing risk and control.
  • •Strong attention to detail and business writing skills, including ability to author/edit documents and challenge/shaping submissions.
  • •Strong knowledge of the external environment (regulatory, political, competitors) and the business (functionally, operationally, financially).
