Job Summary

Senior Substation Physical Designer focused on technical design and CADD support for power delivery substations. Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical design support and drafting assistance for substation projects, including physical/civil layouts and electrical schematics.
•Prepare multiple versions of designs for engineer review and ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
•Use 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor) to create detailed substation drawings, layouts, grounding plans, and connections.
•Verify calculations and contract interpretations, identifying and resolving discrepancies with guidance as needed.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior drafting staff while maintaining quality control and contract compliance.

•9+ years of relevant post-education experience in a discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.
