Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical design support and drafting assistance for substation projects, including physical/civil layouts and electrical schematics.
  • •Prepare multiple versions of designs for engineer review and ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
  • •Use 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor) to create detailed substation drawings, layouts, grounding plans, and connections.
  • •Verify calculations and contract interpretations, identifying and resolving discrepancies with guidance as needed.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior drafting staff while maintaining quality control and contract compliance.
