Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day execution of sell-side M&A transactions from engagement through closing, coordinating timelines and deliverables.
  • •Build and maintain complex financial models including DCF, comparable company analyses, precedent transaction analyses, and LBO analyses.
  • •Prepare confidential marketing materials such as CIMs, management presentations, teasers, and buyer lists.
  • •Coordinate due diligence processes and virtual data room activities, including reviewing diligence requests and monitoring information requests.
  • •Support client relationships and, at Vice President level, act as primary day-to-day contact for clients and transaction counterparties.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • •At least 3-5 years of investment banking, M&A advisory, valuation, transaction advisory services, corporate development, or private equity experience (varies per level).
  • •Previous experience in elements of live sell-side M&A transactions.
  • •Strong accounting and financial statement analysis knowledge.
  • •Experience with Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, or similar databases, and ability to pass FINRA Series 79 & 63 exams.
