Key Responsibilities

  • •Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment to customer specifications.
  • •Prepare for testing, perform final inspection, and use established power checking procedures to verify electrical/mechanical integrity.
  • •Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions with hand and power tools.
  • •Maintain progress of jobs, communicate part shortages or problem areas, handle materials, and support Lean and 5S initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year technical school diploma.
  • •Ability to work overtime as required and meet production demands.
  • •Follow manufacturing drawings and instructions and ensure work meets assigned quality requirements.
  • •Experience using measuring tools and hardware assembly, including torque tolerance where applicable.
  • •Lift 35 lbs. on a regular basis and contribute in a small team environment while following health and safety practices.
