Key Responsibilities

•Define technical vision and architecture by translating mission gaps and customer needs into CONOPS, system architectures, proposals, and IRAD products.
•Lead end-to-end engineering execution across hardware, software, production, and core tech teams; set milestones, manage and mitigate risks, and own top-level technical decision-making.
•Drive product lifecycle from NPI to sustainment by coordinating EMD activities with quality and production and owning engineering readiness for Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR).
•Provide high-level technical oversight for manufacturing readiness and resolution of production and field issues, supporting new business integrations as the primary technical expert.
•Serve as leading product and technical evangelist, briefing internal and external audiences and proactively identifying new opportunities and partnerships.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 253,000 - 336,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
•10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including chief engineer, principal architect, or senior technical leadership for complex multidisciplinary systems.
•Demonstrated experience developing system-level CONOPS and architectures and leading technical strategy through sustainment.
•Proven full accountability for engineering execution, including managing cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance for large-scale programs.
•Deep expertise across multiple engineering domains (e.g., hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, firmware, RF, optics) and ability to arbitrate technical trade-offs; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
