Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the resolution of current open shortages and communicate status within the facility, escalating as needed.
  • •Attend weekly production meetings to provide updates on tier board shortages and resolution timelines.
  • •Evaluate alternate options with design engineering and customer order engineering and coordinate with the material planning group to meet delivery/inventory requirements.
  • •Reach out to suppliers for delivery updates, submit GPS escalations, and act as a conduit between suppliers and Eaton personnel.
  • •Research new supply sources, perform tactical supply chain assessments and supplier selection criteria work, and develop quick-turn sources for short-cycled suppliers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing.
  • •Relocation is not available; candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC.
  • •Preferred: 3 years’ experience in supply chain including direct buying and supplier management responsibility.
  • •Preferred: APICS/CPIM certification (also preferred experience in high ETO environments and supplier shortage resolution).
