Key Responsibilities

  • •Run daily IT operations tasks for mission-critical banking applications, including end-of-day/start-of-day, backups, restores, and replication.
  • •Monitor and ensure 24x7 service availability, escalation of user-reported and system/application faults.
  • •Take data backups for business applications and ensure data replication between main and DR sites (Bahrain and London).
  • •Support first-level help desk responsibilities after normal working hours and assist other IT teams.
  • •Monitor database performance and growth, tune memory/I/O/SQL, perform recovery in case of failure, and operate disaster recovery centers.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • •1–2 years of experience in IT Operations.
  • •Data center operations experience including monitoring, incident handling, and escalation.
  • •Working knowledge of banking/financial institutions domain and database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • •IT certifications in Windows, Linux, or SQL; ITIL is a plus.
