Job Summary

Implement, supervise, and maintain POS system components across central and edge environments for POS, SCO, and mPOS, along with related integrations. Act as a technical authority for Store Systems applications, support POS platform rollouts, updates, and incident management, and ensure compliant deployments. Monitor POS environment stability, maintain services and integrations, and provide training and escalation support to Helpdesk and Local IT teams while coordinating with solution architects and third parties.

Key Responsibilities

•Support POS-related projects, including rollouts, installations, updates, and incident management in coordination with the Project Manager.
•Administer POS and SCO software components globally, including installations, updates, testing, and rollouts.
•Coordinate with first-level and Local IT support teams for system maintenance, updates, and setup reviews.
•Monitor and control POS environment stability and related data flows, including central POS servers.
•Provide escalation, technical/functional support to L1/L2 resources and train Helpdesk and Local IT teams while contributing to a knowledge database.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical knowledge of POS and SCO systems and related components.
•Working knowledge of JPOS / JavaPOS, including driver configuration.
•Experience managing POS devices such as printers, scanners, and PIN pads.
•Knowledge of MS SQL and Linux operating systems.
•Knowledge of Python and batch scripting, with an understanding of networking and communication principles.
