Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic rough and finished carpentry repairs (partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, furniture, roofs, shelves).
  • •Handle basic electrical repair and maintenance (switches, outlets, plugs, cables, appliances, and lighting), and report unsafe conditions.
  • •Identify and repair basic plumbing issues (leaks/breaks, clogs, drains) and maintain hot water heaters and other appliances.
  • •Prepare surfaces for painting/finishing and perform related tasks such as graffiti removal, wall covering repairs, and flooring repairs/replacements.
  • •Respond to emergency situations, maintain assigned vehicle/tools, complete tickets via ServiceNow, and maintain clean, safe, orderly work sites.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or GED plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area, with 5 years of related experience and/or training, and 2 years of related management experience or equivalent combination.
  • •Valid Driver’s License.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, the public, and employees.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and handle problems with routine variables.
  • •Proficiency with hand and power tools, ladders/lifts, and ability to read blueprints and maintain work logs/service requests.
