Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee on-site supervision of MWD/LWD and DD processes, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation and quality control, and delivery of services to customers.
  • •Understand BHA selection principles and DD performance; ensure BHAs are assembled as planned with correct make-up torque and handling.
  • •Ensure data presented to customers is accurate and meets high service quality standards.
  • •Provide technical consultation to customers using DD software, well path projections, and survey data per client procedures.
  • •Test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline is required.
  • •Requires completion of basic M/LWD and DD training programs and at least 1 year of experience in LWD and DD operations (preferably as a FSS).
  • •Must possess or be able to obtain any relevant on- or offshore safety certificates.
