Job Summary

Senior Electrical Engineer role focused on designing building electrical systems, supporting decarbonization and electrification, and leading projects from concept through construction administration. Key Responsibilities

•Lead electrical design from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy, including preparing reports based on findings.
•Be competent in all aspects of building electrical systems design for various project types and markets, completing routing engineering assignments and calculations.
•Stay current on codes and technologies for building electrical systems (power, lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm).
•Organize and conduct site visits for data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
•Coordinate with the client and multiple disciplines as electrical engineer of record to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while mentoring and reviewing work of team members.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or similar +6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
•10+ years experience in designing building electrical systems
•Strong electrical code knowledge including NEC, WSEC, UFC, ASHRAE and IECC
•Experience with LEED and/or WELL and renewable energy/microgrid experience
