Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve the compliance program across crypto, TradFi, and DeFi-adjacent product lines.
  • •Analyze legislation and regulatory guidance across jurisdictions and translate them into practical policies and procedures.
  • •Design and validate control processes for regulatory reporting, transaction monitoring, and licensing obligations.
  • •Serve as a senior advisor to Product and Engineering on compliance implications of new features, integrations, and market expansion.
  • •Partner with business leaders to respond to regulatory inquiries, exams, and audit reports, and act as the primary point of contact with regulators and banking partners.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS required; MBA, JD, or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) preferred.
  • •10+ years of compliance, legal, or regulatory experience with exposure to both crypto/digital assets and TradFi.
  • •Direct experience obtaining and maintaining Money Transmitter License (MTL) approvals across U.S. states.
  • •Thorough experience with AML/BSA and Code of Ethics programs, sanctions, and licensing frameworks relevant to crypto payments.
  • •Experience building or scaling compliance functions at high-growth fintech/crypto companies (preferred).
