Job Summary

Install and maintain copper and fiber networks for residential and small business customers, performing splicing, testing, repairs, and configuration of POTS, DSL, VDSL, FTTH, and related services. You’ll work on out-of-town assignments, weekends, and on-call rotations, ensuring safe, reliable connectivity across aerial, buried, and underground plant.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Install, splice, and test copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
•Perform reel, continuity, and conformance testing using industry-standard equipment (e.g., OTDR, T-Berd).
•Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing copper networks, locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity.
•Install, configure, and enable residential and small business telecommunication services such as POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking.
•Read and interpret service orders, repair tickets, technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and maps to execute work accurately.

Salary: USD 15.77 - 41.87 hourly
