Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (EVT)

Maintain and repair emergency vehicle equipment and ground support machinery in Colorado Springs. Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, perform overhaul, repair, and service on emergency vehicle systems, and troubleshoot/rebuild fire truck pump systems including engine and transmission diagnostics. Conduct initial, in-process, and final inspections of work orders, ensure work quality and compliance with NFPA, technical manuals, DOT regulations, and local SOPs, and return equipment to service.
