Join the Geotechnical & Tunnels team in Brisbane as a Senior to Associate Geotechnical Engineer, delivering and supervising geotechnical investigations from proposal through fieldwork to reporting. You’ll design and manage projects for transport, water, mining, energy and government sectors, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and contribute to innovation, safety, and client service on iconic projects in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

•Designing, undertaking and managing geotechnical investigation projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis and reporting
•Performing desktop studies, field work and laboratory scheduling for geotechnical investigations
•Using interpretation and analysis of investigations to deliver designs for multidisciplinary projects
•Supporting clients during construction to ensure designs are built according to intent
•Driving business development through successful delivery of projects and promoting a safe working culture by identifying hazards

Key Requirements

•A civil engineering or Geotechnical degree
•Post graduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably
•A successful track record in undertaking and project managing field investigations for small to medium sized geotechnical projects
•Willingness to spend time in the field collecting high quality geotechnical data (site investigation, mapping or construction phase services)
•Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction
