Job Summary

Act as the site reference for reviewing, verifying, and correcting mechanical engineering documentation, acting as an intermediary between document issuers and stakeholders. Use experience across EPCM/EPC, detail engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up for chemical, petrochemical, pulp, mining, and industrial projects, supporting coordination between Wood and the client.

Key Responsibilities

•Review, verify, and correct mechanical engineering documentation on site according to client requirements.
•Serve as an intermediary with document issuers and advise the parties involved to support project continuation.
•Support discipline designers with specific technical knowledge.
•Coordinate interaction with other disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping, etc.
•Conduct field surveys and interpret/process mechanical and process drawings such as P&IDs, layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and mechanical arrangement drawings.

Key Requirements

•Civil Engineer in Electricity with Process Control mention or Automation Engineer from a recognized university.
•At least 10 years of experience.
•Knowledge of specialty design standards including ASME, API, and NFPA.
•Experience with process and utilities equipment such as pressure vessels, reactors, distillation towers, furnaces, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and turbines.
•Knowledge of piping system design, including supports/accessories, and material specifications using ASTM.
