Hardware-focused engineer responsible for developing and deploying automated test systems for SpaceX Starlink flight hardware, spanning electrical, mechanical, thermal analysis, software, and RF domains. •Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and software engineers to design and develop test systems for flight hardware validation
•Define and document test system requirements, coverage, designs and operational strategies
•Design and produce test assets such as racks, panels, fixtures, harnessing, PCBAs and tooling
•Select off-the-shelf hardware or design custom PCBAs to measure signals, apply loads, and power units under test
•Develop tools and processes to analyze data from on-orbit and production environments and drive design improvements

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or other STEM discipline
•1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship experience acceptable)
•Strong understanding of computers and programming languages (Python, C/C++, TwinCAT)
•Experience with RF testing and electronics measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer)
•Knowledge of environmental testing such as HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration and TVAC and safety standards (UL, NFPA, ANSI, IEC)
