Job Summary

Lead market access strategy and customer engagement from CHS’s Geneva office, building long-term relationships with key buyers across the grain supply chain. Own end-to-end execution from negotiation and contract creation through delivery and payment, using market intelligence to anticipate customer needs and identify downstream opportunities into North Africa and/or the Middle East. Partner with global offices and contribute to counterparty risk assessments while meeting customers regularly.

Key Responsibilities

•Champion CHS’s market access strategy in destination markets and support annual marketing plans for defined commodity volumes into North Africa and/or Middle East.
•Serve as primary point of contact for buyers, communicating directly to provide insights and services that drive long-term relationships and repeat business.
•Represent CHS throughout the customer journey, from negotiation and contract creation to physical cargo execution and payment.
•Integrate trade positions, market views, and overall strategies to approach markets and customers effectively.
•Collaborate with global CHS offices, contribute to counterparty risk assessments, and continually seek downstream opportunities to expand CHS’s footprint at destination.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
•7+ years of experience in grain commodities marketing or trading with deep expertise in wheat, corn, and soybeans.
•Fluency in English and French.
•Proven experience monitoring imports and conducting competitive analysis for target countries.
•Strong knowledge of contract terms for origins such as Black Sea, Argentina, US, and Brazil.
