Internship: Photonics Scientist (Master)

Investigate the most promising on-chip photonic concept for capnography by benchmarking candidate approaches and running first simulations aligned with CO₂-in-breath requirements. Evaluate simulation tools for optical-chip design and gas–chip interaction, and analyze optical coupling, gas interaction, manufacturability, and expected sensitivity. This master-level internship focuses on concept selection and simulation; experimental fabrication and bench testing are out of scope.
