Drive step-change improvements in asset reliability, uptime, safety, and cost through automation, “Plant of the Future” capabilities, and disciplined capital investment governance. Partner with global and regional supply chain leaders to balance standardization with local execution, establish engineering standards and safety protocols, and build a high-performing, diverse engineering organization with strong succession pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and lead global engineering strategy, ensuring alignment to supply chain objectives, safety requirements, and sustainability goals.
•Own and govern the global automation and “Plant of the Future” roadmap, including major capital investments and technology deployments.
•Establish and enforce global engineering standards, safety protocols, and best practices across regions and sites.
•Lead and inspire a diverse multinational engineering organization, including succession pipelines and capability uplift programmes.
•Provide governance over the global engineering portfolio with demand intake, prioritisation, and ROI-focused investment decisions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related discipline).
•Significant senior leadership experience in engineering within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
•Proven delivery of large-scale, global engineering and automation programmes, including capital-intensive projects and technology transformations.
•Demonstrated success leading large, multi-site, multicultural engineering teams across international operations.
•Strong experience establishing global governance, engineering standards, and operating models within complex regulatory environments.
