Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for the safety of employees through active engagement in safety activities and clear communication of safe work expectations.
  • •Lead and execute risk assessments for the area of responsibility and drive corrective/preventive actions to eliminate or reduce EHS risks.
  • •Track and direct parts manufactured for work orders, oversee production rate, and monitor workflow, efficiency and quality.
  • •Issue corrective action notifications when program areas fail to meet quality or delivery expectations.
  • •Supervise and direct department employees, including training new hires, evaluating performance during probation, and conducting counseling/written warnings/suspensions/discharges as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • •5+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years as a leader and/or supervisor.
  • •Six Sigma certification and/or training.
  • •Preferred 2-4-year college or technical degree.
  • •Experience organizing and prioritizing work for self and others, handling multiple projects, and using Microsoft products.
