Job Summary

Float into Financial Center and Bank Mart teams to serve customers through a consultative sales process. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessment, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and use CAMP and marketing tools to set appointments. Cross-sell, support referrals with business partners, process teller transactions, and help drive production and year-over-year revenue growth while following risk, ethics, and retail policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with certification to perform as a Retail Personal Banker I.
•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain product/service knowledge and recommend appropriate solutions for retail consumers and small businesses using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments for periodic financial reviews, and engage in outside sales and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and support cross-selling and referral relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment).

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
