Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the Company’s international litigation matters in coordination with Law Management and external counsel.
  • •Monitor and consolidate reporting on international litigation matters across the enterprise, including subsidiaries and joint ventures, and in the energy sector generally.
  • •Monitor legal, regulatory, and procedural developments in relation to international litigation.
  • •Provide training on key issues in connection with potential international litigation.
  • • briefing management on litigation risks and trends and advising management accordingly.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor of Law degree as minimum. Master or Juris degree preferred.
  • •Current admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or country of which you are a citizen or resident.
  • •A minimum of 10 years hands on experience gained in a large multinational corporation or law firm, specifically in overseeing complex arbitrations.
  • •Experience in briefing management about legal risks, and litigation trends in the industry.
  • •Litigation experience, preferably in matters related to climate litigation and/or sovereign immunity.
