CDS Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Maintain the operational security posture of Cross Domain Solution (CDS) systems by performing Linux-focused security auditing and continuous monitoring. Work with the ISSM, system owners, enclave teams, and CDS engineering to review CDS logs and guard behavior, validate enforcement rules and configuration baselines, and collect evidence for RMF and assessments. Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD/IC security requirements, support STIG validation and remediation, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
